Bulgaria is to Build eur 118 mln Golf Courses

Leading British professional golf player Ian Woosnam came to Bulgaria to promote the construction of two new golf course complexes at a total price of EUR 118 mln.

At a press conference on Tuesday, 1 Nov., builders "Balkanstroy" and "Baraj & Co" announced that apart from golf courses the complexes will include housing, restaurants, cafes, shops and other facilities.

Woosnam, a double winner of the European Order of Merit, has co-designed the complexes with "European Golf Design."

The two golf complexes will be built in Balchik on Bulgaria's Northern seaside, and between the towns of Razlog and Bansko in the Southwest part of the country.
